Where in the heck does snot come from?

I have allergies and blow and blow and more and more snot. I even use my neti pot to clean out my sinus' and within 1/2 hour more snot. I can't take sudafed or anything like it because i have high blood pressure. I can only take Claritin and it doesn't seem to be working.

Hey GiGi...I have lots of snot. I got tested a couple years ago and although the allergy Doc said I wasn't allergic to any of the common stuff, I still get allergy symptoms a couple times a year. One of my co-workers told me about Nettle Leaf. It is a homeopathic remedy for allergy and upper respiratory issues. I just got some today at Whole Foods and I am giving it a try. You might ask your Doc if you can take it. BTW there are some decongestants made specifically for peeps with High BP...just ask your fave pharmacist.

How much cayenne pepper and celery seed? Do you take it straight or add it to food?
