Do you ever wonder about the random shuffler and if u had called quicker or waited longer the next card dealt would have been different . Unlike live play where the cards are what they are , a random shuffler is always shuffling and the next card is purely LUCK based on when the dealer asks for another card . What are ur thoughts on this ?? And why do all online poker sites use them ? If the card program is separate from the dealer program and game program is separate from the other 2 why keep shuffling the cards and creating even more chance .
O.K. you got me thinking about what you stated about the random shuffler. Are you sure that it continuously shuffles? Timing controls the cards? I thought it was shuffled once between card rounds dealt. Ex. shuffles twice, burn a card, deal pre flop cards, shuffle once, burn a card, deal flop, shuffle once, burn a card, deal turn, shuffle once, burn a card, deal river.

This is really the only reliable way the online sites can randomize the cards. The time you take to press the action buttons is a lot more random than cards being tumbled and shoved around on felt by human hands, so if you start fixating on it you'll go crazy. Just another part of the online game that you either accept or don't and part of the reason why I only play online for about 20% of the stakes I play live. For all you know, half of your next online table is going to confer on AIM on every hand.

Interesting you call with a pair of kings after the flop, or only with the A, with rainbow st8 on the board? I am very curious as to why? Do you think that since I was 1st to act and lower stacked I'm bluffing a st8 or set or just 2 pair? I hope you don't mind me asking you questions. I need to strengthen my game and have a hard time understanding a call there. I am trying to look at from the other players view and would think I was way behind, maybe I am not seeing something. Thanks, all help is appreciated.
When you bet 920 on that flop, I would put you on top pair and consider my KK to be ahead, completely forgetting about my ace and three (which were only going to be useful to snag a low anyway). If you bet any more than that, I would start thinking about putting you on two pair, a set, or maybe the straight. Your straight is a cooler hand there and it's actually a pretty tough read. Typically, somebody protecting a set or better will want to bet more than the pot to protect their hand and prevent a suckout. As the guy who just flopped a low straight, the last thing you want is to give away a cheap card that pairs the board or brings a flush into play and then be forced to wonder whether your hand is still good. Remember that potting it still gives your opponent 2:1 odds to call, which isn't completely prohibitive since anybody who thinks that are ahead or even that they have at least 12 outs would call. Obviously, he didn't have that many outs and he got lucky on that turn, but I can totally see him thinking that he did and not being completely off his rocker.

    Number 8

Before each card is dealt out, a re-shuffle of the remaining cards takes place. This means that each dealt card has been randomly drawn from a freshly reshuffled deck, each and every time.

I think that happens a ot , watch for people from same town etc and see how they play each other . I have caught a few university students doing this , probably in same room etc . I just don't play at these cash game tables . The odds they sit at same table in tourney is unlikely
