It would seem that all4pearljam doesn't feel like I have a right to play my chips as I chose, and wants to throw punches about it on the forum as well.

I CHOSE to make that call because I could afford the chips for the chance. I don't recall their being a cosmic law of nature that prohibits my doing that, otherwise THE CALL BUTTON WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN AVAILABLE!

why don't u make this thread a POLL and have people vote whether or not u shoulda made that call. You will see the real answer then...

You risked 1/3 of your chips (early) on a small pair against 2 allins...that makes ZERO sense. Of course you can do what you want with your chips (you obviously showed your prowess by calling Jen's allin yesterday with 8-6) - the point is it was the INCORRECT call and a complete donk move, that's a fact.

Ya know what i luv about you? You stick to your convictions.

Regardless of whether I think u should lay down something or not, I admire that you don't get timid and aren't afraid to defend yourself.

The thing is, most everyone here will tell you their game has improved playing with everyone and taking advice.

I love having you here and in the games. You are hilarious and sweet with a solid poker foundation. My only suggestion, is rather than feeling the need to explain a hail mary call, perhaps take advice to help make your game even better. I think you are a natural. Never apologize for your play. Although maybe some here could show more tact when critiquing, maybe use the knowledge to make your game even better.

I know its hard not to be defensive, but if the people doing the screaming would take a moment to explain why something is possibly incorrect and you would accept advice graciously, then suddenly we have a thread that everyone can learn from. In turn we all benefit.
