I stupidly bought a store brand, pre-cooked ham...because the store had too many, and they were ON SALE...
The problem I am having is that it is tough, tough, TOUGH to chew!!! I do not see any gristle or anything there; the meat is just very tough...
Anyone know anything I can do to tenderize this sucker? I feel like tossing it into my back field and letting the wild animals have at it...
Its probably possum.
Additional cooking may tenderize the ham further
