    make my own BBQ sauce & it won 1st place in the american royal cook off in kansas city & over 6yrs I made a lot of it lol
    let me know what your favorite stuff to BBQ is & we just might trade some secrets

    I love BBQ I grew up in the North East where hunting is a mannly man thing to do. So eating venison was required thank heavens for good BBQ sauce. Franks red hot mixed with A1 sauce, Salt, pepper and some crushed garlic can cover the taste of even the most rancid meat.

    Ok, we have a deal for you, you like lakes and rivers, how about the Ozarks? Come down for a long weekend with Patsi and I teaching us your cooking tricks, and we can make sure plenty of any kind of fishing you want takes place, and fun on the lake...it's not that far...really. And I promise not to take my teeth out!

    skyguy,there is no better place than the Ozarks ! been to them thar hills many times lol....beautiful country ! .....your offer is soooo tempting but will have to mow my yrd 1st,see if I can find my truck oh and ya better keep your teeth in sweety....kinda hard to munch on BBQ without 'em

    I'm looking for some help in slow cooking some pork ribs. I was able to find some ingredients for a pretty cool spice rub on line. So, I figure I marinade the pork in some apple cider type liquid overnight?. Then apply a liberal coating of the rub, and let stand for another hour or so?.. I'm talking maybe a pound or so of ribs... So, how long do I cook it in the oven, and and at what temperature, so that when it comes out its cooked ace and just falls off the bones?
    Any tips, helpful advise would be really appreciated
