The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has cleared the campus police of any wrongdoing in the infamous tasering of a University of Florida student last month....

University of Florida President Bernie Machen released a 17-page executive summary of the report on Wednesday but said it would at least a week before the full 300-page report could be redacted and made public.

Machen said:

In short, the [Florida Department of Law Enforcement] determined that our officers acted well within state guidelines. The two officers, who were placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation, were reinstated by the University Police Department this morning and are back on normal duty.
