I think im having a mid life crisis... all Mrs Funky wants to do is go to the fucking shops to buy watches handbags shoes perfume and BS like that or perhaps laze around reading a book.

As much as I love her and as much as I quite like lazing around Its almost the exact polar opposite to what I hanker for, I want total freedom, self sufficiency with a nice easy income to top up comfortable standard of living.

I wanna get stoned when i want without being subject to a drugs test, i want to work the hours that suit me. Basically Ive had enough and want to retire/do things for myself like fish, eat, drink, chat, grow tomatoes, hunt, fuck. I want to live my life for my needs and wants.

I just wondered what other people wanted out of life?

i just want to interact with others, keep learning and share what i've learned along the way. pretty simple stuff. the frustrations of interacting with some people even help in the learning process. i'd like to be healthy enough to get around, not have too much pain, have enough to eat and a clean place to sleep. that's about it.

I just want to enjoy the rest of my life now that I am getting older. To be able to be successful in my job and retire when its time. Enjoy spending time with my family and my dearest friends. Travel and just to pay my bills without having to struggle. I do not have to have the finest things in life just things to get me by and to enjoy what time I have left on this earth. Spending time with my family and friends are the most important and live a healthy life.

I want a do over, but that's not possible. So considering my new reality, I'd like more time and some help to finish my chicken coup and goat pen, so I can get up every day and collect the eggs, milk the goats and make some cheese and yogurt. I'd like my little bit of forest to stop dying so I don't have to run the chainsaw as much lol although I do enjoy running the chainsaw. I'm still up in the air on the nursing degree, but I'm also happy with my current job on the ranch, but really want work closer to home. Wish I had a magic wand so I could move the ranch closer to home. lol I suppose in summary, now that I've rattled on, I do want companionship again and the peaceful country life I've worked my whole life to get, oh and to go have a beer and a game of pool at the little country bar down the road more than once a year. lol With all that said, I'm very fortunate to have the love of family and friends that have stood the test of time and helped me live when I didn't want to anymore. So long as I have that, the rest is just a bonus.
