Why 2,000 People Needed to Occupy Wall Street:

Banks Are Raking in Profits While Taxpayers Are Getting Screwed

In a just world, with a just economy, we have to wonder: who would be out in the cold? Who would be getting arrested?
Ok, definately going to work now. lol

Yeah, big protest, and on a Saturday no less.

Has anyone ever seen the area around Wall Street on a saturday? It's a ghost town. If they would have tried that on a weekday with only 2,000 people, they wouldn't have even been noticed. Now if you REALLY want to protest on Wall Street with only 2,000 people, first you've got to do it on a Monday. Then put 10 people, at 200 deli's around the NYSE and block the doors so that no one can get in, during lunch time. Now THAT will create the riots, the arrests, and the national exposure. Of course there's also a good change that all 2,000 protesters will have the living shit beaten out of them by irate interns and personal assistants, but such is the price you pay for being a valuable member of the revolution.

With all due respect Paul saying stuff like they'll get the shit kicked out of them coz the suited lackeys looting the US cant get a parma ham and rocket baguette makes you sound sort of smug and trying hard to be in with the establishment.

One way or another though it will no doubt end in tears. Greed is a funny thing.

Actually, what I was trying to say was that 2,000 college kids, squatting on empty sidewalks, chanting slogans, with no one around but reporters is a pretty stupid way to make your point heard.

I mean really, SATURDAY, at Wall Street? Might as well go hold up a sign in the middle of the desert. It's not really Ian Smith now is it? "You must stick to your principles and have the courage of your convictions."
