I don't think it's complacency at all. I think it is simple really. You have to build consensus. How can you build consensus for radical change when so many are opinionated to one side or the other?
MF might even have some grand ideas, but he talks like he's so much smarter than everyone else that it completely turns everyone else off from what ever it is he is trying to say. As if his bundle of big words in incoherent sentences had real meaning, nobody will pay attention to someone talking down to them like they are stupid.
that won't build consensus, that won't bring real change.
dropping party labels and discussing real issues and real solutions is the only productive thing to do, yet those of us with an opinion and that have put any thought into it at all continue to argue over which party is right when we all realize that they are the same.
