As the imams also insist the koran can only be read properly in arabic, you find an enormous of people taking the imams views as 'the word of God'. Most of Britain's imams are trained in Pakistan and are amongst the most anti-Western.

You also get trouble with people translating the arabic so it's been called the koran for centuries and then someone says 'oh no its the qu'aran cos quadaffi says so.

just curious - where did i say that i put faith into words alone?? i think you read that into my statement. you even quoted me saying match the words with actions, and still seem to think i've got blind faith in what politicians say.

i don't think i said that i put faith into politicians words at all, only that i look to match their words with their actions, so you claiming that i put more faith into their words than you is to me, a mis-characterization of what i said.
