... nor do I see crusade as synonymous with activism, but obviously they are both in the same ballpark. When I said it was a negative, I said it in relation to your use of "common sense of the right." If not biased and intending to make the left appear in a negative, then your statement would have read "That said, I am more aligned with the common sense of the right than I am with the common sense of the left."

come on Beth, you are intelligent enough to see this is a semantic argument, it is definitely close enough to be called synonymous, by your own admission, even if it isn't "listed" here.

I didn't say "common sense of the left" because in my point of view most of their positions lack common sense. I view the general position of the left as one of activist government, where the solution to all of society's ills are through government intervention. I don't agree with that as a matter of principle.

That is my point of view, it's not an insult. I don't call those with a different point of view names, I allow them their point of view, and am happy to discuss issues with them. That is refreshing. Name calling, by either side, is pointless and counter productive.
