The War on Obama: Birthers and Anti-Obama Legislation

The Republican and Tea Parties are determined that President Obama should be a one-term president, and that meanwhile, punitive damages should be assessed against him for having the audacity as a black man to not only run for president, but to win.

    • In Tennessee, state Sen. Mae Beavers has introduced SB 1091, a bill that would require presidential candidates to present a “long-form” birth certificate in order to be on the ballot in that state. Nearly a dozen states have had similar anti-Obama legislation aimed at making President Obama a one-term president, including – unsurprisingly – Arizona – as well as Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Connecticut, Indiana, Nebraska, Tennessee, Montana, and Maine, and Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-Louisiana) has promised to sign one of these bills as well. Mae Beavers admits she has no idea what a “long-form” birth certificate even is. She “hasn’t looked into it yet.” Keep in mind, all these proposals will cost the taxpayers money at a time when the GOP claims we’re too poor to even educate our children.
    • The Arizona State Senate passed a bill HB 2177 that forces presidential candidates to submit extensive paperwork to prove they’re American citizens, including, the New York Times reports, “a sworn affidavit stating citizenship and age; a long-form birth certificate showing date and place of birth, name of hospital and doctor, and witness signatures; and a sworn statement listing a candidate’s places of residence for the last 14 years.”
    • Rep. Steve Womack, R-Ark., proposed legislation to eliminate funding for the president’s Teleprompter. He later withdrew the proposal citing as a reason the inability “to get an estimate on how much it would save.” Womack told FOX News, “We’re asking people to do more with less. And I think the president ought to lead by example. He is already a very gifted speaker. And I think that’s one platform he could do without,” Interestingly and tellingly, he didn’t suggest putting aside his own government funded healthcare program. “I think we made our point,” Womack said. Yes, you did. You proved you’re a petty-minded hypocrite.
    • Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-Texas), proposed legislation “to strip funding for the alteration, repair or improvement of the executive residence of the White House and instead divert that amount to deficit reduction.” Because letting the White House fall down sends a powerful message to other countries.

Wow, if color had anything to do with it at all, how do you explain Herman Cain's rise in the polls? Don't you think us cracker Teapublican's would slap that uppity boy down if we truly gave a flying fuck about what color somebody is?

I don't give a shit if someone is white, black, asian, hispanic, male or female. If they hold Constitutional Conservative positions, then they have my support.

Obama happens to be a Liberal Socialist, so he wouldn't have my support if he was an white, adopted, Italian-American, from Texas.

Again Nikki, here you go again. Of course the GOP is bent on making Obama a one-term president, just as the Dems were bent on making GWB a one term president. And it has nothing to do with race.

And you are clearly the most hateful person on this forum . . . gay, rich, white, and liberal and it is YOU who is full of hate.

    go figure

the real racists are the liberals. they want to keep the issue of race alive (for their benefit) in a nation that is becoming more race neutral all the time.

few tea party patriots consider race when judging candidates, but not even support of blacks and hispanics can keep the liberals from shouting racist because the choose to support conservative minorities instead of "real" minorities that fall for the liberal bs that they need to be dependent upon the government for their well being. talk about slavery...lol...obama and his like want everyone enslaved. how dare anyone stand up for a higher degree of personal responsibility.
what matters most in life is honesty. it's never wrong to do the right thing.

Again this is stuff from the net and is legislation from the right not the left .. Bluff sez we on the left are racist but yet he never produces anything to substantiate that claim. Yet here is proof the right and Tea Baggers are trying to pass legislation directed at the president. We on the left have never submitted anti Bush legislation.

Again the boys club here goes after the messenger (me) and not the message (them) which is hate based messages. So I'll continue to bring forth right winged hate legislation be it local state or national ..

I am sooo proud of Tn and the rest of of the states, has not one thing to do with color, just making sure Presidents are born her, UNLIKE OBAMA !! That birth certificate was just funny!! Really don't feel they have to do much to make sure he is one term, just listen to his promises ( bull shit) and see what he has done. Now i will hear from cold case, oh well. Why in the hell is everything racial to you? I would have voted for Powell and I will vote for Cain if he is there. OMG they are black and I am from the South. What am I, a reverse raciest? I don't give a flying fuck if they are blue as long as they do whats best for this country.

If you are a racist I don't know ... are you willing to take a really hard test to determine it?

    The Racism Test | OlyBlog

If you do take the time to read the pre test instructions and once testing speed is important ... If you need to think the answer .... well you'll find out.

It took that test and am moderately racist LOL I think to be fair the conditioning you get on the first rounds regarding what buttons to hit may effect the results some what. I wonder if the results would be any different if the tests started with good and black buttons being the same?
