If a human can't figure out that going down the side of a mountain on snow could hurt or kill you, then WTF are they doing up there.

I believe it should be up to the parents to teach their kids to wear a helmet.. if they so desire... when i first learned to ride motorcycle, i was 7 yrs old. the rule was.. no helmet, no bike.. no exception.. this rule was enforced throughout my childhood riding, and in fear of losing my bike i followed the rule, as an adult it sticks in my head... when i ride to a place like Utah, which has no helmet laws, I still wont be caught without a helmet..
Skiing and boarding however, I have never worn a helmet... I assume the risk. I don't believe ski and board helmets are worth a shit anyway.
