I agree that the best and the brightest the GOP has to offer at this stage is pretty sad looking, but I disagree things look good for Obama.

Obama's next move is going to be a bailout for Europe who, get this, is in danger of financial collapse because of "overwhelming debt" as he continues to ignore the same in his own country.

Apparently our overwhelming debt won't stop us from borrowing, or just printing up, more money to help those who frankly aren't much help to us.

Obama is not only beatable, I would say it's getting easier as time goes by, and then you can post a thread something like . . . 'Hahahaha is the right wing nuts laffing at the best and brightest the Republican Party can muster thanks to the strangle hold the Tea Baggers, no tax pledge and the bible thumpers and still Obama couldn't get elected, even after spending close to a billion dollars donated by special interests and billionaires he pretends to detest"

The whole thing is sad, that an idiot like Obambam can look like the better option. I guess all the defense of Billy Boy goes out the window with the condemnation of Cain the Pain.

yep yep yep I agree. Right now, there would be no problem with anyone beating Obama. BUT, mark my word, something good will happen right before election and people will forget his famous words " What they will say is, well it costs too much money, but you know what ? It would cost, about. It it it would cost about the same as what we would spend, It. Over the course of 10 years it would cost what it would costs us. ( nervous laugh ) All right. Ok. We're going to. It. It would costs us about the same as it would cost for about, hold on one second. I can't hear myself. But I am glad you're fired up, though, I'm glad. " Think he needs a tele-prompter?

Funny how Nikki still supports Obama unreservedly after his anti-gay stance. She still harps on about people out of the race yet ignores the overwhelming favourite. ps Moab his name is Mitt Romney( he forgets his first name is actually Willis)

there is so much truth in that statement . . . .

by focusing on "races" between dems and reps, the issues are allowed to remain. they need the issues to have something to argue about, to try to woo voters. solving the problems would put them out of business.

Every problem our nation faces could be quickly resolved through compromise, if winning the race were not the primary goal.

It's messed up, but as long as "we" go along with it, nothing changes

Is does seem like the GOP polled voters are rotating thru them, moving on to the next when problems arise. And with ole Newt having a giant trunk load of baggage in his history closet, I don't expect him to stay on top very long either.

I doubt it will happen, but it would be nice for Paul to take a turn at the top, before one of his strict constitutional positions get twisted around . It is kind of sad that Romney is just sitting there, safely waiting for the rest to give way for him to win eventually.

And IMO, Obama is very beatable, as long as unemployment doesn't drop quickly and he has the USA on the verge of bankruptcy

No worries...O' BAMA was in rare form again today in Kansas, although for a moment he could not remember where he was...mentioned Texas and then corrected himself. Interesting how BO is always comparing himself to DEAD Presidents...today it was Teddy Roosevelt. BO is, after all, his own worst enemy. Republicans don't have a corner on the market where lying and cheating are concerned...Hell, Slick Willy was in the Oval Office getting hummers and then lied about it under oath to a grand jury.

O' BAMA is O'mazing and even Donald Trump could beat him in 2012.
