no wackos won election in NJ fact is they lost a seat in the Assembly. Mississippi, voters rejected the Person Hood Bill. Ohio rejected the anti Union Bill. AZ lost Russell Pearce architect of the Anti Immigration Law.

I don't think any of them can unseat Obama. It's just like 1996, the GOP had built up anti-government sentiment and swept the mid-terms in '94 and thought they could carry it over and beat Clinton with the stiff they put up against him. No dis to Bob Dole but he was never getting elected, just as none of the current crop of Repubs are.
until some new blood gets it's message out, and frankly pulls it's head out of it's butt (if they gave just a little on the taxes issue they could neutralize Obama completely because the taxes he is looking for are not only meaningless in relation to the deficit situation, they could then show the damage, if there is any, done in a later election.), there is no real future for GOP policies.

Christie would have had a great chance, he's gambled on Bazza winning another term and will be a knock in 2016(if Obama wins). Romney has a fair chance but has no charisma(then again neither did Bush).
I still believe Obama will lose, but have to admit, the guys running seen to be helping him. Can not believe this, but Newt, by far, is the smartest Republican running, lot of baggage, but not as much as Obama had when he ran.

The knee jerk reaction called the Tea Party is starting to unravel.
I'm here in Gilbert AZ with my Niece who is a up and coming young attorney. We were involved in the recall and the without a doubt reason for his defeat. As soon as he was elected president of the Senate he declared himself as head of the Tea Party which initiated the 6 month recall campaign and recall as voters are tired of AZ being run by special interest. To further this the Mayor of Phoenix was elected with a overwhelming majority and the winner was a Democrat .. It's believed that voters is Phoenix wanted the status quo and are satisfied with the way the city is run and therefore the defeat on the part of the Tea Party candidate.
The feeling for change to normality is so great in AZ that there now is a growing moment to recall the radical Sheriff who believes he's above the law. He's so sure he'll lose he's playing the Mexican card today as I write this..
People here are tired of that card and want to get on with life ..
The republicans running for office can't see the big picture which is there are just a few extreme right winged supporters and they are all campaigning for that small group.
Change is on the wind .. we were talking to long time supporters of Right Talk Radio ... many are fed up with the one sided distorted hate cast at anyone who disagrees with the extreme view. In our non scientific poll .. (pole) .. the overwhelming majority would prefer politics of the 60's and 70's.

Kennedy was a great president and did many wonderful things for America in his short term. From my point of view one of those was telling the old Dixiecrats to fuck off and go to hell. Which created the Democrats from being associated with the Southern Democrats who supported segregation and were anti civil rights. The other was when he and Nikita Khrushchev worked together not to have WWIII because of the Missile crisis. Kennedy offered up our obsolete missiles in Turkey in exchange for the Soviet removal from Cuba. First let's get this straight ... me personally I don't know if it was one or more gunmen. The fact is not one person has come forward with anything tangible to prove otherwise, however all the known evidence points to Oswald acting alone. Lincolns assassin didn't act alone and all were caught using the best forensic tools of the time but in this day of high tech computers and computer annalist the evidence stills points to a single gunman.
The one thing that is consistent with the Kennedy murder and other conspiracy theories are those who believe it also subscribe to other theories of the conspiratorial nature. Rarely will you find a Kennedy conspiracy believer not believe in Flying Saucers, The Trilateral Commission, 9-11 and Obama Birthers. However the believers usually fall into a group who really believe Hillary Clinton had Vince Foster murdered.
Now lets examine the statement of Mother Mob ... just who might that be? The Italian Mob or the Jewish Mob or the Catholic Mob or the Irish Mob and just what was he Mob up for ... Booze ...
