Not quite true.....

Bush spoke to 30 kids that day not 30 million. and asking kids to write to the president is not exactly an efficent way to fill their heads with talking points.

First, the so called 30, were million of children as these events were televised, and meant to be televised as a publicity stunt.

Second, if a child is ask to write the President it's usually a school event. The classroom or even school's is involved with the letter writing campaign. We did so when Carter was President my school class the 4th grade was involved in a letter writing campaign supporting his energy conservation program.

Yep you're right. I say we close all the schools... Outlaw that damn liberal brainwashing machine they call Seasame Street, because they try and teach that all Races can live together in harmony(how dare they!!!)... Ban the Teletubbies! After all, everyone knows that "Tinky Winky" is gay... No more reruns of Mr. Rogers because he was a "Marine Sniper" with over 150 kills... Sean Hannity can teach History...

Greta Van Susteren can teach Home Ec...

And Bill O'Reilly can teach english...

I'm so glad that I never had to deal with President Obama comming into my school and giving me that kind of speech when I was a kid. I sure wouldn't have wanted to have been assimilated into his new version of the "Hitler Youth".

I feel so sorry for the kids that had to listen to that today. I mean how can we as a nation put up with our President telling our children to work hard in school? The nerve of him!!! Who the hell does he think he is anyway!?

Nobody should be able to take away the rights of our children to sleep through classes, skip school, and drop out early. It's their right as Americans to fail if they want to, and it's our duty as Americans to support these dropouts in every way, including through Welfare, etc.
