I don't shower in preparation for going to get my haircut, however, in consideration of the shoppe personnel, I do practice personal hygiene

Is it a written rule in the man lawbook that states that men do not need to shower on Saturdays?

I think it's an 'unwritten law', handed down from father to son
from the pre-industrial era. If we mobilize and start a
"Shower on Saturday" web site, I think we have a chance at opening
lines of communications and making more men aware that not only do
hairdressers look unfavorably to 'the stink' of men, but so too do private
drama coaches, female dentists and certain female lawyers (although they
are compensated so well by the hour that they should be able to deal
with the stench!)
