Over the past couple of years religious conservatives(I hope it's not demeaning to call them that Nicci) have fought against allowing gay marriage. Their biggest arguments are that...
1. It's wrong in the eyes of God, and condemed in the Bible.
2. It's a threat to "traditional" marriage.
And 3. It's harmful and unfair to the children that may be involved.
Now if that's the case...
1. Divorce is wrong in the eyes of God and condemed in the Bible.
2. What bigger threat can there be to a tradition marriage if not divorce?
And 3. It's harmful and unfair to the children that may be involved.
So my question is... Why are the religious conservatives fighting so hard to uphold "some" of their "values" and not "all" of them?
