First off, I meant nothing by it, and it's not a "LEFTY" thing. I've heard everyone on Fox News. CNN, MSNBC, etc. all calling the same as I just did. Now I would agree with you if the cuts were permanent, but since they were never meant to be permanent, then they're still the "Bush tax cuts" IMO.

They weren't permanent because the couldn't survive a Senate filibuster. I think they only had 58 to 42 in favor of permanent cuts. So, like Obamacare, they had to pass it using reconciliation. Unlike Obamacare, they have to be renewed every so often until the Republicans get 60 in the Senate. I do, however, predict that they will outlast Obamacare.
Since they were renewed and even supported by Obama on the latest renewal, can't we call them Obama's tax cuts now?
