The Public health system SUCKS!!!!

ok so not all of you know this, but last week my husband ended up in hospital in severe pain...anyhoo he got admitted into hospital...wich mind you is a private hospital..anyhoo his doctor would make his rounds early in the morning and he was told he has Gall stones....now i dont know if any of you have had an attack with gallstones to know the pain? ....now because we are public patients, he had to be discharged to go see his doctor back at his clinic to get a refferal to a surgeon...WTF? sooooo today we went to see him and he did the referal and said because we are public we have to make the calls to make an appointment to see the sergeon....again WTF? sooo i call the surgeon to make an appointment.............well fuck me dead he cant get into see the surgeon until JUNE!!!!! .......WTF again??? your shitting me right??

my statement is this if your a public patient..you might as well be shit on someones shoe

If we were private patients he could have his choice of surgeon and prolly have it done next week

So like i said The Public Health System Sucks dogs Nuts!!!!!

Lee I feel for you. Last May on Mother's Day my father had a gall bladder attack and was taken to the Emergency Room on Sunday night. On Monday morning the surgeon removed his gall bladder and he was home resting by Wednesday. Once we implement socialist medicine here in the USA I really dread what will happen to him (or anyone else) next time he needs emergency surgery.

Works both ways- I've dislocated(separated) my shoulder 5 times in last month. Been treated prompyly every time. had 3 visits to specialists. Told me last week-the ligaments are completely torn there's nothing holding yr shoulder in but you'll have to wait months - maybe 6 for op. then you'll be outta action for another 2. So great I seen and cared about but then you just end of waiting list
