I'd bet that anyone who ever hired a hooker never looked at the woman and said..."DAMN, what if this was my sister or mom"

It should be legal, and regulated...just think of the jobs it would create in this tough economy!

16 years ago when I was living close to Carson City, NV., our company sold all the legal brothels debit card machines for each bedroom. I was impressed at how clean and professional everything was.

I say keep it legal just to keep the girls safe. Sex work has a place in our society.

Why must it always be about people's families, Todd? Of course not..nobody wants that for their daughter, but if it happens (yourGod forbid)...well that's the way it is...deal with it...continue loving her.

It's not an honourable existence, granted, but it is a reality. You know the odds of your daughter going rogue are minimal because of the care and love you project to her.

Society is made up of a diverse assortment of characters. You will never be able to moralize a change in that. Some things are so common that they become 'institutions' Prostitution IS an institution.

I think we have to make humane decisions on things we know are wrong.

I say baby steps.....they can charge for a dry hump at first...then after a year of that, we'll revisit.

It is not going to go away whatever our views, therefore regulation AND keeping the girls off the street and safe IS the moral highground.

Abortions are "regulated" and that keeps women far safer than back street butchers. My point is that our own moral views should never over-ride the safety of what WILL happen.
