i didn't comment about the truthfulness or lack thereof. like i said, i don't care if he's gay and don't really care if he represents himself as straight. we have had many presidents who have lied about their sexual activities. if he is gay and is making anti gay statements - well it sounds like he has not come to terms with who he is. or perhaps he is just a hypocrite. no shortage of those in politics either ;-)

Interesting yes, but is it really true? All I know is what I read, but she just does not seem to be a stupid woman and being married to a gay and running for President, just does not make since to me. yes she might win the gay vote, but that would be more than offset by the Christian vote, I would think. And I do know a lot of people with stupid backgrounds and things hidden in closets do run.
I wish that those guys would come forward with that.

Speaking as an independent voter, I do not think they will go with her at all. Think its comparable to Palin, big splash, then fadeaway. Some one needs to step forward that has a chance of beating Obama, not sure any one running now can beat him. the Republicans will be divided before all is said and done, split votes etc. Think politics have reached a stage where no real, qualified person wants to take a cut in pay, put up with the bull shit in Washington, and I could go on and on. I do truly believe this is the time Huckabee could beat Obama, but he has reached a stage where his income is the best in his life, and figurers its not worth it, and i don't blame him.
