Isn't it strange how some people view tragic anniversaries as morbid and others a time to remember. To be fair as long as it is a time for a broad reflection I do not see it as a bad thing. We should learn from history but not just remember the events but what lead to these events... can we (a) do as much as possible to protect ourselves from a repeat (b) foster positivity (reign in hatred towards a nation/culture/religion from whence the perpetrators of the event originate).
