Obama may try to spin it his way, but things just went from bad to worse in North Korea. Kim Jong Il's sons, by many reports are even worse than his father.
He had been recently grooming his third son to succeed him, but there may be a power play between him and the eldest son.
The eldest son lost favor with Daddy when he tried to sneak into Japan on a forged passport in order to go to Disney-Tokyo. It should be an interesting power struggle to watch. Especially considering the Nuclear ambitions of North Korea.
Bush didn't have anything to do with this? Wow

Concentration camps, political prisoners, a starving and backward population, strong military ambitions, and developing nukes to possibly sell all done by Kim Jong Il. So aside from starting a war that destabilizes the region or creates a worldwide conflict, how exactly do things get much worse?

It can always get a LOT worse.
How do you solve the problem of starvation when you can't produce more food? How do you cut medical costs when the biggest cost of medical care is the elderly? How do you produce products when you don't have the resources to provide for the workers you have already?
Now answer the above questions with no moral constraint, no perspective of the real world, and no compunctions against doing violence and murder.
It can always get much, much worse.
