I was just curious what people thought about having to be subjected to cancer causing naked body scanners at Airports?

It turns out that although they said it was impossible to save the images or print them out (yeah right we can fly to the Moon but its impossible to save an image or print it) Now it turns out that the 360 degree biometric naked body scan is being put on databases along with your DNA.

I think its a great idea, I cant wait to have my naked body scanned and stored on a data base. Its a lovely.. a track and trace surveillance system, and its all for your own good.. if you haven't done anything wrong you haven't got anything to worry about so STFU, NOW GET IN THAT RADIOACTIVE NAKED BODY SCANNER NOW YOU SERF!!

As far as I'm concerned, if someone wants to see Me OR sunni naked... They can pay 3.99 a minute like anyone else... and I'll be geting My private pilots license AS SOON as I can afford it... JUST so I don't have to deal with airport security... (oh, the irony)

Sidetrack: this happened yesterday. I was in a store using their restroom. There I am tinklingand I look up and see a sign that says "Warning you are being recorded by closed caption TV. Stealing is against the law". I Look in the corner and there is a little camera pointed at my on the lou.

In UK any part of restroom a definite ' no go' for cameras, esp. cubicles. 'Invasion of privacy. It is reputed that toilets in local mall are used fopr dealing drugs to underage kids, have to go down corridor to get there. One member stands at top with mobile phone-just rings if anyone approaches. Police know it's happening but powerless, v small mall but 3 entrances. As for cameras- definite 'NO-impossible'

Yeah, Jen, in all My years in Loss Prevention, restrooms and fitting rooms were always a SERIOUS "no go" and friends still in the industry tell Me things have gotten MORE not less strict... I'd seriously consider lawyering up as you may have been recorded illegally.

Its no more impossible to put cameras in toilets than it is to save naked body scanner images and then put them on a DATABASE (that means your details attached to your naked pics that can be retrieved using various "queries" or search criteria) which is happening.

lets film school girls going to the toilet... its ok if they havent done anything wrong they havent got anything to worry about!!

Last year police were called to a school in Salford after parents were horrified to discover children had been filmed changing into their PE kit.

Although the footage was not misused (says who), police seized the film after negotiating with the school. (so no one got into trouble then as usual)

In 2007 it was revealed schools (lots of them) had fingerprinted thousands of primary school children without their parent's consent.

The Department for Children, Schools and Families later ruled that if schools want to obtain and store biometric data from children, consent is not required from parents.

Hell I almost got fired (to protect against liability) from a job for giving a "go" on a stop where the suspect put items in her bag in front of our female LP agent, not even in a stall... We figured she was going to the restroom to bag the goods and sent our female LPA in there just to try to scare her into ditching.... The suspect came in, IGNORED our LPA and bagged a few hundred in merchandise right in front of her... Stop went off without incedent, no fights, arguements, etc. but suspect plead innocent and lawyered that we had no right to "surveillance" inside the restroom, and I went up for review, JUST because a restroom was involved...

Seriously, at the least I wouldn't shop there again, but if I were you, I'd seriously consider talking to your lawyer.
