If you can't do the time, then do the crime in FL (Rush Limbaugh said something similar)

Sounds like someone is trying to divert us from the real issues at hand.

Also I would like to see the proposed city ordnances that would allow state and federal sex offenders to work in a place where children are.

Also progressives ... I thought it was about getting government out of our lives yet you would deny a person who has done their time and probation and owes no fines the same right as you would.

Sex offenders and the "criminally insane" aside, once someone is released from prison it, imo, means that they've paid their debt to society. They were sentenced in a court of law to a certain "punishment", and again imo, once that punishment is over they shouldn't have to keep paying the price.

frank, givin the rate of repeat offenders, it's unrealistic that consideration not be given to past negative behavior. i've hired guys with recent incarceration, but only after i've been able to observe their behavior a bit and make my determination about their character.
what matters most in life is honesty. it's never wrong to do the right thing.

Yeah Frank....I can agree to that. I tend to meet alot of fellons in my business, most of thier crimes are drug related and they ain't bad guys...just fucked up in thier younger days. they're making good money and are keeping straight.

Depends on the crime to me, I will never believe sex offenders should be able to work around children.
