Finally congress is debating the cost of war .. Perhaps not the liberals but none-the-less, the house is debating.

House Speaker John Boehner, actually brought up the cost of the CRUISE missiles and what could be done domestically with that money. I'm sure both Locheed and Boeing will send lobbyist to visit him and explain the errors in ways ..

On the serious side ... this is a first for me that someone other than a liberal is bringing up the cost of men and materials in our effort to battle the war on terror (which btw I find is a bogus war) and establishing bases in the middle-east as outlined in the PENAC, Papers, William Crystals non profit organization, the' Project for the New American Century ...

It's a good feeling knowing after 30 years of denouncing war that the right has finally decided along with me that cost will not out weight the results.

I just wish mister speaker was actually sincere and not making political hay out of the situation. It sure seems a wasted use of those cruise missiles, not just for the campaign they're being used in, but in the cost vs impact ratio as well. For the price, they should pack a bigger punch!

But, the only way that money could be used domestically is if we sold those missiles to Gadaffi instead of shooting them at him. See those missiles are already bought and paid for, and just laying around gathering dust. Now, if we're in no big hurry to replace them, well that's good news.
