Actually the so called West has kept Israel, out of bombing Iran. I'm sure if they did bomb Iran, the beginning of a real WWIII would soon follow. I'm also quite sure China, would side with the oil supplying Middle Eastern countries.

Israel, loves it's saber rattling but cooler heads do still run that country and know that if they attack Iran they and the whole Middle East would become a highly radio-active piece of real estate and the need for oil would be moot as so would the rest of the planet ... thus solving Japans problem with 3 melt-downs.
