Well. I know I have never met one I liked. I suppose there could be a first time, but I have to say I am still waiting for that. In my current opinion, it seems to take a certain type of person to make it as a cop (deputy, etc.), and, evidently, that kind of person is someone I don't prefer to hang out with. On the other hand, there are military, and ex military, people I do like hanging out with.

A rookie cop once gave me a $450 ticket for having an outdated license,
even though it was two days overdue and told him I never got the renewal
slip in the mail. Two frickin' days!!!

I fought it in court and won...The government admitted they had sent it to the
wrong address. It was work getting all the shit together for court.

Fooker could have givin' me a warning and 48 hrs to fix the shit...but noooooo
he had to play macho on my ass. Power trippin' toolwad!!

Even more awesome... I walk out to my car this morning and find a huge dent square in the middle of my trunk. There's no way this part of the car could have been hit by another car in an accident; it was a deliberate shot. Seeing as my car was fine as of 8PM last night, I figure it was from kids in the street that had nothing better to do over the summer at night. Whatever, if you park your car on the street, these things happen.

Anyway, I see this dent in my trunk and my landlord's 14-year old kid is sitting on the steps waiting for his bus to some sports camp. I ask him if there were any kids out in the street last night that could have dented my car (my apartment is along the back of the property and I can't really hear the neighborhood at all). After not being personally accused of anything, the kid turns beet red and immediately jumps out on the defensive saying how he didn't do anything and finally closes with, "And even if I did do it my dad's a cop so you couldn't do anything to me, anyway".

So now we have asswipe cops AND their punk teenagers that know they can hide behind their daddy's badges. In the meantime, I'm out about $700 for body work.

When I was in high school, the local sheriff was on duty, and his wife was having a graduation party for their son, the the sheriff( bob) had no clue that alcohol was being served. he came home to find kids tapping a keg... so he drove all the kids home, and arrested his wife for contributing to a minor. he also arrested his own kid, i guess to teach him a lesson.. his kid never hid behind his father the cop... if he did something wrong, he paid for it like any other child..
not all cops are psycho's. Sure there are a few asswipe cops out there... .. almost everyone has probably run into an asshole cop here and there, doesnt make them All Bad.. but there are assholes in every profession... I had a few prick teachers in school... the principle in my school was 1 of the biggest pricks i've ever met. there are some bad preachers too, they go around, diddling little choir boys, AND GET AWAY WITH IT!!!.... doesnt mean they are all bad... Ever sat down in a bar, and met a construction worker with an attitude? Or been run off the road by some asshole truckdriver that thinks he owns the road? pricks are out there in every profession..

Believe it or not, some cops are actually pretty decent, Honest people, attempting to do their job...

Jason, I couldn't agree with you more!

I think we have all had our run ins with asswipe cops, and big fat truckers who try to run us off the road.

My husband is (the worst combo ever!!!) an Ex military cop. Shay, you should try hanging out with him You won't wanna hang out with anyone military OR a cop afterwards
