You know, I chewed out my charge nurse for dawdling unnecessarily for 15 minutes after I and then family members requested a medication I was not legally allowed to administer to their father who was in the last hours of his life and writhing in pain and gasping for air. I wrote myself up and put it under the DON's door before I left that night. She refused to accept it. I sure was looking forward to those days I said I should be given as punishment. Oh well.
