If you're implying America is the culprit you are wrong our historic population is declining and being replaced by immigrants.

As usual you just fly out the crap .. You never have anything to add to a discussion. Which Curt and I were doing ... being civil and discussing.
And you're not an immigrant? As for being civil, you're civil as long as long as you are not losing an argument when you hurl words like 'racist' and paedophile' around.

Excuse me but I won't be talked to like that .. So I'll ignore you for sometime ... when you apologize then we may try and have a discussion.

I have not accused anyone of racism or pedophilia since I took a voluntary 2 week ban. I've only pointed out how racism is subtly used.

I am sorry I missed your apology for those insults. If I'd seen it I wouldn't have brought the matter back up and won't do again.

Warming and cooling trends are naturally occurring. This is what gets me about environmental extremists. You want to ignore the fact that man is a mere blip in the eternal life of this planet, this rock will be here long after we are not. Nobody should have the arrogance to believe that man will last forever. The dinosaurs roamed for far longer than man has been in existence, yet they do no more. That should tell you that by nature, nothing lasts forever.

Now that said, we should of course do what we can to keep our environment clean. I remember how filthy things were getting in the 1970's with people just dumping trash wherever, tossing it out the car window with no regard, and we have come a long way since then. I think we could strive to reduce pollution as well. I don't like coming down the hill on 509 and seeing the brown cloud surrounding the city I am about to drive into, and I think plenty could be done about it.

But I don't for one minute fall for this "the sky is falling" chicken little crap, where any and all weather instances are used to prove "global climate change" (we had to start using that term because global warming doesn't explain how it's cooling at the same time??)

I would love to hear more about these scientists who have determined the perfect balance to thermostatically control the earth's mean temperature. That might be something of interest. Seems ever so far fetched though, which is why, I am sure, it is not out there getting more popular attention.

Because that is the key. There would have to be a perfect balance to maintain a static condition. Too much and it warms, too little and it cools. Source that info for us Nikki, maybe you will change some minds.

All of the Al Gore butt lickers, seem to always forget that CO2 FOLLOWS TEMPERATure up..that has been proven from the ancient ICE sheets.

The fact is, the earth has so many world climate influences and processes ongoing that man, really hasn't a clue of the total picture.

I read a article that some of the carbon paranoids, want to seed the upper atmosphere , to control climate.....I am not talking about cloud seeding to make it rain....talk about a probable fucking disaster......I don't remember the details, but positive it will be much worst than a ever changing climate..

Moab, as I stated before, I personally believe man has helped increase the speed of global warming. That being my opinion does not change what the ACTUAL question asked was for this thread. Did global warming cause the recent massive tornado's? I believe that would be very hard to prove, and the added moisture in the air from the flooding makes more sense imo.

expand this statement to include the entire universe (or multiverse) and it should be obvious how insignificant we humans are. we could nuke the entire planet tomorrow, wipe out all the life on earth and it would not matter unless some arrogant humans were left to blather on about how terrible it was.

the climate, the planet, the universe are ever changing. we can adapt or we can perish, like all the life that came before us. one thing we can't do though is stop the process of change.
what matters most in life is honesty. it's never wrong to do the right thing.
