Why don't you check out the complete gangfuck going on in the News forum? There's your 'heated debate' if by 'heated debate' you mean me presenting cold economic statistics and getting lambasted by the entire Glenn Beck fan club that now constitutes the entire Pit since they drove all of the moderates away.

Well, the Pit basically sucks now and it's not really an asset to the forum any more. Amazingly, you need a minimum of two sides to each discussion and most newly recruited members when all they see is insults and references to Hitler.

Try looking through the current threads and try to find anything resembling a two-sided discussion. You might find two or three in 2009.
