Glad to see that you agree that torture, such as waterboarding, doesn't work. People will say anything in order to put a stop to the suffering they're going through.

Granted his victims died in a short but very violent death. They have been dead for over thirty years and with with God in your world. However Charles must get up each day get fucked in the ass suck a dick or two eat crap food be isolated from the main prison population. I will guarantee you each waking moment of his life is involved with his getting to where he is today from the inmates who taunt him who jeer him and the guards who could careless if he lives or dies.

If you took sometime and read prison statics on how many inmates who are in for lesser crimes and including those in for the violent crimes that try and commit suicide you will be surprised at the number who would rather not be breathing and prison is a living hell.

Putting Manson to sleep is probably the best thing that could happen to him in his mind.

I doubt many people here have sampled both UK and US prison systems Billy so we'll just have to take your word for it I suppose.
Why did Obama cross the road?... Because he made a campaign promise not to.

Prison is not suppose to be good!!!! People in prison should not have it good, now they sit and watch color TV, we feed them, clothe them, furnish health care etc at a huge cost to the taxpayers. Why should they have it good?

and jail, I think they should go back to the road gangs, have them clean up our roads, do labor, might make them think twice before coming back.

If cost is the issue, then release non violent criminals doing crimes for drugs or drug usage.

Moab and I actually agree on something (marking calendar)! I would add that most non violent criminals, in jail for any reason, should be released. The percentage of our population behind bars is ridiculous! It is a hidden form of slavery in this country...in my opinion. We need more probation officers (with sensible rules) and less prison guards (with fewer inmates)!
