I've made it quite clear that I have muslim friends who are not full of hatred and some of my friends are Christians too. Both religions having its extremists. Can't they all just get along

its wrong I believe, but I just wished Americans would get mad when our flags are burned. It just seems like everything is ok if it happens to Americans, but let something happen to others, and all hell breaks loose.

In the US catholics and protestants started getting along, so they could burn the mormon books together last century or the one before I guess...

I personally fail to see how anyone could be offended by some idiot going out, BUYING something (a book, a flag, whatever) and then burning it... I ALSO don't see how burning something you just spent money on, can make yourself feel better about anything... It's like burning money...

People wanna burn shit THEY paid for, I say go ahead, let them spend every last dollar they have doing it... as long as they're not burning shit I paid for it's fine by Me...

BTW... Isn't it odd, you never see protesters burning money? Seems to Me, if you were REALLY committed to burning a symbol of a country, it's currency would be a MUCH better symbol....

AND, where as burning a book or a flag is a COMPLETELY symbolic act, if you burned enough CURRENCY at one time, you could (in theory at least) actually create a bit of inflation.... Shows ya how committed these supposedly "outraged" folks are.

I think.... JUST for giggles.... I'm gonna go down there and protest BOTH protests, on the basis that all this book and flag burning is causing second hand smoke which is endangering My health.... I plan on chain smoking while doing this....
