In pursuing the 55 trillion we have seen this:
In 1900 the world wide population impact was 1.8 billion people with a 2 trillion dollar World GDP. In 111 years the population has grown has grown almost 4 times and World GDP growing almost 28 times.
Today the mass of the earth's cultivable surface (ice free) is consumed by 38% in order to feed the 7 billion people. By 2050 there will a additional 2 billion people to feed.
With oil depleting faster than population growth just how will the world be capable to keep up with food demands and where will we find more cultivatable land, some 6% more than todays 38% of land usage.
Rivers are running dry due to irrigation and the oceans are being pouted with what water is left in river runoff and other drainage runoff. The Aral Sea is now near empty because of agriculture.
Is over population going to make more wild species extinct, more than any cataclysmic event such as a super volcano or large meteor strike ..?
What as human can we do to prevent the mass extinction of all life on earth or are just doing Gods will?
