I just got home from the Golden Nugget. Wow, was that a long three days. It was a hellva lot of fun too. Covering the final table live was great. The quality of play at that table was exceptional! Any of those nine could have taken it down.

I am wiped out!

It was a really fun time. There were very few stars there. Antonio Esfandiari, was there for the first hour or so, then he bolted to go watch his buddy Brian Rast win the $50k Poker Player's Championship. Michael Mizrachi was there for about 5 mins. Humberto Brenes was hanging around for a little bit. Mel Judah was there for most of the evening. And finally Vince Van Patten made an appearance and said hi to us, but bailed out fairly quickly.

Never saw Phil Laak, Greg Raymer or Calvin Ayers. All were supposed to be there. I heard later that all the poker people were at the Rio watching the $50k finish up.

As soon as Wade get's the interview I did with Antonio edited, I'll post it on here.

Here's some of the pics. I had to be very careful with my camera, I was told that I couldn't take any shots of the "entertainers." The entertainers on stage were fair game, just not the scantily clad women walking around everywhere. Seriously, the place was crammed with strippers.

Thank goodness the WSOP is winding down.

The parties are 1/4 what they were last year and people are still completely wiped by the Main event.


Speaking of which, I really want to have a spare 10 k to play dammit!
