    Yep This^^^^

But also 2 other things you see often online

1- You play 3-4 tourneys (or sit n go) in the same nite, and you always get knocked out by a better hand than yours, while you were strong (flush vs str flush, FH vs quads, etc)

2- You're playing a good tourney and then you get move to another table, and there's that donk, calling and pushing preflop with T2, J8, 96 and always win at showdown (like A2o againts AA and hit his flush on the river)

We don't see this often live ...

I've taken some absolutely brutal beats live as well and don't see much of a difference.

You know, Stu Ungar used to let people cheat at Rummy; his bodyguard would tell him someone was cheating and he would say "It's okay, I'll still win" and he did. Maybe that's why people still play even when they think a site's rigged; they figure they can still beat the masses.

This pretty much explains it all.I've had numerous discussions about this. They have explained it perfectly.Unfortunately, there is no incentive for a poker site to investigate vigorously unless there is a considerable amount of money in question(they make their money regardless).I'm actually surprised the site even went to the length they did in sending such an in depth response. They typically don't respond in such detail to us low limit donks.

Well i could think of a good reason why they would rig the sites - greed.

If they have their own players playing in tournaments then not only do they collect their rake but they also collect the winnings that they would have to pay out.

Im not sure i believe that the place is rigged - but i do understand that there is a direct correlation with me depositing and winning.

Im still gonna play - cos its cheaper than my other recreational activites - well most of em
