My two cents worth...HE is the only one to account for his activities, not you, not the web site...HIM and HIM alone.

Here is my example, many here know I'm an alcoholic/addict/obsessive/compulsive, and at times it takes every ounce of my energy not to get fucked up or carried away with useless activities. BUT, if I choose to get fucked up in some manner, it rests on my shoulders alone. As for the medical side of it, it is a disease, a normal person produces a chemical in the brain called HDIQ-(short name)-that tells them they've had enough to drink, drug or don't jump off that cliff or out of that plane, the real addicts-(no matter what they're addicted to)-does not produce that chemical.

If you visit my house, there is plenty of beer and alcohol of every kind to drink. People always ask why I keep it in the house, to me it's rather simple and I have two reasons...
    1. If I choose to drink, it makes no difference if it's in the house or not, I'll find it.
    2. If I choose to drink, you WANT me to stay in my house...lol.

Bottom line, it's on him, not you.

^^^^Thank you. Precisely how I feel, but I guess "public perception" is everything and closing the guy's account is the right thing to do - even though the bottom line is it sucks.

I read ONLY Jens original post. So everything I say may have been covered. At ftp they allow you to ban yourself. I have never done that. My friend at work has MANY times. With the ban they keep you hooked in. YES you can prob cancel your account at tilt also. If someone wants to cancel IMO you have to grant that. He won here. So will be one of the first places he goes back to if keeps playing.
