***League Merger***
Beginning June 1st, the LP leader boards will be merging with World Holdem League and is turned over to Gary "BiggDawgg" Menges (aka 1WorldHoldem). The LP leaderboard will no longer exist and we will focus on Team and special events. If you have a problem with play, respect at the table, or a certain player, please pm Gary. This is now his problem.He will do his best to value all of our input and we are working together to create a complimentary schedule of events all year round. We are very excited about this merger. He has been running his games as long as we have and I hope you all respect his judgement as you have respected ours....
How will WHL games differ from LP?
10 min blind structure and 8 handed tables. Games are 5 days a week allowing for Europeans to also participate. Only your top 8 games per month will count toward your score. This means out of a min of 24 games per month, you only have to play 8!
Starting chip count remains at 2000.
*IMPORTANT: Individual games will be paid out manually following each game via player transfer.
^^^Why are we doing this? $2 from each $6 buy in goes to the prize pool. $1 from each $3 buy in. There is no way to technically automate this in a timely manner. Without allowing for manual payout, the additional fees are counted as rake and way too costly. We were very pleased to find a solution. Rest assured, all payouts are still computed electronically and guaranteed the same game day. The prize pool will not show in lobby as it does now. See game payout structure below:
All games will have a password. This is not to keep it secret. We all know passwords can be given out and we encourage you to tell your friends about us. However we assume by typing in the password you have read and understand the manual payout and prize pool fees. The password for all games is: worldholdem
Some of you may welcome the change, others may not. This decision was not made lightly. I am very impressed with how professionally run this league is. The end of the month prize pool pays the top 8 finishers. Conservatively speaking, the minimum prize pool is $500. See prize pool structure below:

7th - 5%
8th - 4%
Sun - 5pm ET - Freeroll (top 6 awarded vouchers into $6.60 buy in) Top 12 players receive points.
Tues - 10pm ET - $6.60
Wed - 9pm ET - $6.60
Fri - 9pm ET - $6.60
Sat - 4pm ET - $6.60
All league buy-in's divided up as below

$2 goes to monthly prize pool
$0.60 rake
$3.30 Buy-In

*Should a player become suspended or is already on ban, WHL league will not be issuing points for eligibility on the leader board.
Also, he has been fully warned that if any players suck out on Cold Case there will be hell to be paid
We all seem to have really enjoyed playing with each other the past couple of weeks. I hope everyone is as excited as we are about the changes. With this new merger, we expect new players to participate in our team play and special events. Competition is stepping up my friends! Let's show them what we got!
Crowns will still be awarded to monthly champs in the forum and points will still count toward Player of the Year. Plus, you have an additional Player of the Year title to compete for!
