I agree with your post. I have never read a poker book. Maybe I should? I started out young playing 5 card draw and home poker games. Then moving to holdem when everyone else did. Most quit inviting me to there home holdem games because imo I generally beat them. So started playing online. I found playing too many mtts it was hard to keep up with a decent bankroll. So keyed in on 9 man sngs. Although lately I have pissed away much of my bank playing hi/lo mtts. lol I think my play has come a long way since I started out. I also do not think I move allin pre flop too often. You will NEVER see me calling a allin when two other players already are. Unless it is a small amount or I am holding qq, kk or AA. Calling that with qq is even getting risky imo. Generally allin is a play I make when the blinds are huge and I have a small stack and can't afford to see flops. If you have ever watched me. You will rarely see me re raise or go allin over the top of another players raise with Ak or Aq like SO many do. Unless I have them EASILY covered and I think they are desperate with there raise or allin when they are short stacked will I call that. There were 4 players limped in for 300 when I made my allin play out of the bb with JJ. I felt two of the four with there stack size and playing style would of called a raise. Those two players were tucky and pleasure. I figured niccers would fold and she did. I was not sure of dvn since had never played him before. If I had JJ and any of them would of raised. I would of just called and saw the flop. Then played it from there. Maybe I was being greedy with 1200 already in the pot hoping they would all fold. But still feel I made the correct play for the situation.

I also agree with Jens post. I just have to follow her lead more by not bitching so much when encounter bad players etc.
