i don't know you too well although i've played against you in some Graveyard games. i don't know what type of player you are but if you are looking to improve your game then the WHL games are a good place to start. i use Waggie as a great example. she just started playing recently. a true novice. she used the WHL games to learn & make herself a better player and last week she won the GLOP tournament. she was even taught by Ez and still won!! by playing with good players, LP, WHL and now the Hustlers, your game improves.

Rob, funny you say that about Waggie...Have played a few games with her, her game has improved so much, she already knows how to "read" our plays...I think Ezzz is a really great coach. Wonder if I could pimp him out and make a few bucks!

This month is really tight for the bottom pay outs. I really hope we have a big game tonite, the winner could really jump up. I also noticed there are only 21 regular league players, that have played 8 games or more. Sept I think that will really jump up, as more huslters come in...They are very good players and alot of fun!

Gary I have said enough too you.. I am not the only one that feels this way and has some of the same views I do .. you can tell that by the attendance of your games .. other people just does not express their self as boldly and openly as I do ..

The main thing was to play poker with some of the best players there is on LP.. the people here are great..I am behind Jen one thousand percent and think she has a wonderful thing going on. This is the funnest people out of every poker site to sit down and enjoy your time with win or lose. I am not one that is out for blood and think it is the end of the world if I do not win...Just in general wanted a game that had decent payouts for people that can not attend on a regular basis and no 2 or 3 dollar fee. I may have gotten rather harsh and I do apologize to Jen for that because I do not want to put her in the middle , however if I believe in something I stand my ground. If I have offended anyone I am sorry.. I am just a bitch like that and I am not in denial

This was nice to read. But I have to be honest. This statement gives me way too much credit. I will admit Waggie use to sit next to watch my games a lot. I would answer any questions she had about why I made a certain play a certain way etc. She eventually showed interest in playing. So I transferred her some $ on lp. We also made a very small deposit on another site for some sng action. I wanted her to play there before playing ours. So not to donk up the lp tables. Also so I could sit and help her some. I wouldn't of felt right helping her in one of our games. I sat with her maybe 2 sngs on the other site. Then she lost the rest of her $ there. Then she began playing only whl league games. We would more talk about poker when watching TV or whatever. The conversations would generally end up her getting frustrated with me cramming too much info at her too fast. Expecting results too quickly. I being involved was more ruining the fun of it for her imo. So I stepped WAY back and said nothing ever for a long while. I then noticed her doing generally well during the games. Gaining a stack etc. Then I would watch her slowly blind out toward the end. I then had one last discussion with her about going for the gold. Meaning the win. Generally a talk about her needing to become more aggressive. If she got short go down hard fighting. No blinding out on a slow death. That seemed to be a turning point for her. Now I just answer questions here and there if she asks them. But I never help or give advise during a game. For it just frustrates and causes her not to do well. I give wags most of the credit for teaching herself. Yesterday I asked her if she would like to learn Omaha hi/lo. She said is that with the four cards and I said yes. She just rolled her eyes and walked away!! lol She'll be back!!

I apologize for sidetracking the original bounty thread. I was just trying to defend the WHL because it got me excited about holdem again. I will admit the sidepot does not mean nearly as much to me as winning a month. Which I still have not done in that league. I would get just as excited winning a month in a league with or without a side pot. I am basically saying I got just as excited getting title in the lp leagues and I do playing whl. I just got down on the lp leagues because the number of players were way down. I will never agree at these comments that the whl numbers are down. I remember them from the beginning. They were smaller at first in the middle teens. Now most every game has 20 or more players. With new players showing up every game. Kimmie I believe Gary was just defending his league against your "ripoff" comment!! Which I would did not like and especially would not if was a league I started and put much time into running!! So IMO you pretty much started it with him. Every game when it gets close to the $ he shows up saying what EACH place pays!! Even if he was the first guy knocked out!! That is true dedication him waiting around to show us that. So feel you are giving him the raw deal coming after him like you have. Rob made a good point that making the $ one time pays for the extra rake and then some. Maybe if you were capable of that you would not be so bitter.
