Can't even trust yourself huh Niccivan. Ok then i will hold it. My account has never been below $40 so i wont have no temtations but at least ur honest.

I am not participating this month, because I can not be a contender, but since it is an LP game I think either myself, Nicci, Harsea or Shay should hold it. I am endorsing it and think its a great idea, but for the sake of the members I believe a poker mod should hold onto the funds. I am glad you came to LP VB and got this ball rolling, we have been talking about it awhile, but you still have only been a member less than a month and hopefully this event will grow in the future and the funds need to be in stable hands. Since Rob was kind enough to offer, then that may be the best solution.

Appreciate the concern but let's see if anyone has a problem first. I am on everyday and looks like i play a majority of all games, not just the leaderboard ones. I am very easy to get a hold of as well. If someone in the list has a problem of me holding their money then I will gladly go to those lengths. No one encouraged or helped me start this so i would be very gracious to finish it.

Very good point, but since unfortunately from when you first arrived you created some walls for yourself and you were banned almost immediately, perhaps you would find more people willing to participate if they felt secure in the hands it was in. What if you are banned again and no one can reach you?

Do you have a problem with a mod holding it?

Since your ban you have been very respectful, but personally speaking and I do believe speaking for some others, the participation might be greater at least until you have become a more established member.

I don't see why it would be a big deal for VB if a mod held it. It would just make for a comfortable situation all around.

Btw, I have no reason not to trust VB in the slightest and I am sure his intentions are honorable and to improve the leader board games. I am very appreciative he initiated the entire thing. However, if he does hold the funds and a LP mod does not (simply putting a disclaimer), and he is banned or disappears from the group with your side pool.... I don't want to hear a word about it and we will cease future side bets being promoted in LP threads.

If this is a success we will have a official Leader Board side pool stuck at the top of the forum every month and hopefully if it gets large enough be able to the top 3 with a 50/30/20 split.

First off, if i did split, i doubt anyone would cry to you because you had no part in this. Second, i aint going anywhere. Third, like i said, from talking to everyone, i don't think anyone has a problem. This is a little pussy side pot cause no one wanted to get a real one going in time. Hopefully this will get the mods here motivated to get this going in May as you see people want it. I still think 50 cents a game is the best idea, this is both good for people who play a lot and for those who only play a little. No offense but you guys have been talking about it way before i got here and i got the first one(albiet small) going only 2 weeks after getting here.
