The sad part is that I can pick out the street corner on about half of the neighborhood pictures.

Midtown has some cool stuff, but if you're into architecture then the Financial District is just unbeatable.
You have the big glass-and-steel buildings, art deco skyscrapers, colonial era cobblestone streets and shop windows... just an amazing mix of everyhting impossibly thrown together.
I worked across the street from Trinity Church for about five years and there are always some professional photogs taking pictures of it.
