have friends in the Seattle area who are battling back to back big snow storms.....as of this morn'n there was 17" on the ground with no end in sight. And I thought kansas winters were bad ....think I'll keep my ruby reds on .Hang in there guys ! spring will be here soon

Well up here, most folks just don't know how to drive in the white stuff, we see it so rarely. And to make it worse, you can't go a mile anywhere without coming up on a hill. It's funny we make the national news when the snow falls, five inches is enough to shut this area down . . . .
It's supposed to be rainy again tomorrow, all this will turn to slush and we'll be battling standing water in every low spot imaginable.
These are yesterday, a solid 7 or 8 more inches fell today . . .
Looks about the same where i am north of seattle in canada & we dont get much winter,so terrible winter drivers here too

Chicago here and lucky to have only had one day of snow... it been really strange
I agree... snow can be a bitch when you aren't used to it.. but it sure is pretty!
Warm air is coming from the south, a bit of freezing rain right now, supposed to turn to straight rain tonight, and by tomorrow temps are to be in the mid-forties

I really do miss the snow though. It was nice to have every once in a while.
