Most Of The Time It's Hard To Be A Newbie

Most of the time it's hard to be a newbie when joning a Forum.
we have difficulties navigating the Forum.
BUT, if we ask for help there's always a nice mod to point us in the right direction.
We try to jump right in to be friends with the long timers of the Forum.
BUT, if we're nice to everyone it will be returned.
Us newbies attempt to jump right in with the ~~already~~ circle of friends.
BUT, if we give it some time, we newbies will become a forum friend to those that have alreay bonded.
We newbies ask for a little respect.
If we become active ~~posting~~ members we will earn that respect.
BUT, the best way to earn respect from the long timers > is to beat them on the felt<

I made a statement " I will be taking their chips" in a joking manner.
BUT, one replied " Not hardly, there's a lot of good players here. The name is > maxima< and I took that personally !!
So, when I knock you out of one of our Forum games....don't take it personal. Just show me some respect AND I hope we can become Forum friends And I don't spell well, so when I misspell a few words, simply correct me don't disrespect me because I'm not as smart as you....and I hope we can become friends.

After all, isn't helping one another a part of being a "FRIENDLY" Forum and simply haveing fun ?

BUT, when it is time to hit the felt, it's time to get serious and be compeitive. When us newbies take the long time Forum members chips and you're out of the game.......CAN'T we still be friends ?

I'm not sure calling out Maxima was the appropriate action, but I do like the sentiment of the post.

We are all here to be friends and make friends.

Maxima is right, there are many of good players here! I wouldn't take that personally. You may be very good yourself.

There are a lot of good players here, but you wouldn't be the first newbie that came in and took their chips. If they said that to you at the tables, then that's just them putting on their poker face. Don't take stuff like that personally. I never did and was told similar to that a lot when I came in at first. They don't say that to me anymore. Just show them what you got.

I sincerely apologize to maxima for my statement !!! It was the words ~~Not So Likely~~ that bothered me when I meaningfuly was just kidding. I know there are many good players here which I can learn from. What I need to do is make a good showing in our tourney's.

maxima, don't take that personaly, I wont to be friends with you as well as all the luvin Forum members and simply fit in with this ~group~ as a whole. The last thing I want to do is cause any type of problems or hardship with any member of this Forum. I hope everything is cool !!!

And a lot of us can't spell or use punctuation ~ so no worries there either

Yeah, I make typos all the time. Sometimes it's not an accident.

Maxima is a super awesome lady. im sure she meant no harm, just pointing out the obvious: lots of good players here (......me.....). Be prepared to fight for those chips.

Another thing GT the insults and banter on here- you may think OTT but most is said tongue in cheek. The mods are good at sorting the serious insults from the general banter- dive in at the deep end.
