Life changing childhood event

Has anyone witnessed, watched or heard something as a child that changed or directed life in a certain way? I was 6 years old when this came out, and can't remember having any desire stronger than to fly, it was all I could think about...flying through the air. At age 56 & 4000+ skydives later I'm still thrilled with the idea of flying my body through the sky.

What happened to you changing your course in life?

Great question, I have to think about it. Funny enough, I saw Pan on Broadway with Sandy Duncan and I remember going back home that evening and jumping off the bed, falling on my ass and injuring my tail bone. I think I was 7. I had a strap on blow up pillow for quite some time.
