Personally I've put you through more frustration and turmoil in my early years than most people would ever tolerate, and you've always stood strong, family first everything else second. You've lost two sons under stressful conditions, and your concern was for the rest of us. Always kind, soft spoken & firm in right vs. wrong...always.

I will be one hell of a man if only I can become half of what you are dad.

I miss my Dad .. he left me in 2006 on my Birthday. He was a great dad and miss him dearly .. He is the one that taught me how to be so twisted ! LOL Love you Pops !

My dad is wonderful, and I was lucky to have him then and even luckier to have him now. I was just telling him last night that I had this odd flashback to when I was a kid, and he would leave to go out of town.... before he left he would sing... albeit out of tune...

My kids found the whole Doris Day tune lame, and completely understandable, but when I hear it, it brings tears to my eyes.
