family is scattered & when you do try to plan....... something always happens & we can't get together .... it was Easter last yr when we finally got together ..this yr who knows when that will be ....it pretty much SUCKS
know 1 thing for certain not planning a Christmas for next yr....2x shot down is enuff for me
I'll trade ya places!! Christmas has come so fast this year... I Saw The Name of this thread, And was dreaming of it becoming reality.. I wouldn't want to cancel it... Just postpone It for a month... or 3.
Sorry to hear that- maybe should plan it for Easter every year- makes it easier

As long as I have Patsi and my greythounds here, everyday is Christmas!
So sorry ~ as my kids have grown and married and started their own families, it has become more difficult to plan a 'family' Christmas. I continue with my 'traditions' and for those who can make it, great! For those who cannot ~ I understand and miss them. I love the Holidays and will always celebrate them. I hope things work out ~ don't give up
