Tonight marks an historic evening in Lucyland.....The tigers are playing in the playoffs at 4, and the Lions are on Monday Night Football for the first time in two centuries...the odds of the Detroit area having two winning teams are astronomical...
Having BOTH play the same evening literally has not occurred since baseball was played with clubs and rocks,and football helmets were carved out of stegosaurus skulls...in fact there were actual stone wheeled chariot races held to determine whether the football or baseball game would be played in the coliseum first...
As a consequence, several of Lucy's relatives have been granted clemency, early release, or temporary furlough, and will be gathering at her house this evening. She will be busy changing ankle bracelet batteries, entertaining parole officers and a slew of US Marshals tasked to guard the furloughees....She will be unable to attend Team play this evening.
