    Poker room

    Hey all!!

The poker room is great, but I have a few concerns:

1)Everyone allin all the time at play money
2)How is there already thousands of people on only been open 1/2 a day?are there that many people on the forum that are poker players?
    3) People already on high limits on (25/50 real) such a new site
4)Is this an english only poker site?

    Comments/suggestions:

1)Could we please limit the reups to say 2 every half hour
-this would discourage the allin goofballs and promote legitimate poker play.

2)Just wondering how so many people heard about this poker? It seems alot of these people arent even members of forum. Not a bad thing but I have heard that there are teams(said to be competing sites) that flood new poker sites to play like morons to effectively ruin the reputation of said site so as to dicourage new sign ups.Just sayin, this apparently is a problem for new poker sites.

3)With all the "bots" and colusion and cheat programs out there, does luvinpoker have the proper tracking software to discourage this kind of cheating?Just saying again.I like this site and the people here and wouldnt want the scumbag cheats to sign up because they see an opportunity to scam a site that might not be thinking of these things(not saying that your not , but cheating on the net is more prvelant than one might think). Before you know it they are w/drawn and gone....Pooof.I just think its odd someone would deposit enough at a new site to play in $25/$50NL , thats a big game for not knowing the rep of the site yet.

4)English: I think that the site should implement an "english only" clause.I was at a table , asked that people that were speaking french use english only .They refused and kept speaking french. I see this could be a problem.English only , and if they do not comply....Ban

Dont mean to scare anyone.I just would like this poker to have its best shot to succeed.

    Stay cool/Play well,

We have joined a network. We are a skin site. Players are already there from other rooms.

    Pokernews Review

The Everleaf Gaming Network operates under license from and is regulated by the Malta Lottery and Gaming Authority (LGA). Malta's Lottery and Gaming Authority (LGA) is a government department focused on providing a sound, competent foundation for serious international gaming companies, and whose strict, transparent selection policy insures long-term security. They are very concerned about security along with fair play:

We’re convinced that our card shuffling system is the best one out there. In fact, we’re so convinced that we built an online poker room around it. Our "Quantum Photon Shuffler" is essentially an unpredictable, scientifically- proven quantum-mechanical process inside a special, impregnable, 'hack-proof' “black box”.

On this network the biggest problem currently is traffic. Currently, you are lucky to find about 600 players online during peak hours, which just doesn't cut it. This network is one of the networks that still allows US players from all locations. Hopefully we see some growth once more skins start being added, because it is some nice software.

Yes.I've been playing online poker since 2000.Been on most sites since their inception.Big difference from seeing a couple allin tables than seeing all the tables allin.Difference between seeng 2-4 players allin per table and 6-7 players allin per table. Its principle really ,this is a poker site, not a bingo site. Why join a poker site when all there is to play is bingo? Why stay at a new site and deposit money if your under the impression its a bingo players paradise? If thebingo players are at play money their going to be playing freerolls.Eventually they will cash and bring their silliness to real money.Doesnt sound possible?Wen the site grows into 1000's and even 10's of thousands (we hope),there will be an impact.Just an observation. Not trying to make waves.Im not here to sabatage,I'm here to help.As I've said in forums, I like your site,Ilike the people alot in forums.I just dont want a buch of morons(and there are plenty online) to effect the poker sites growth.I want you to succeed Jen.I want to be able to tell my freinds I know an owner of a prospering online pokersite.I know alot of people that play poker and want to refer them to the site. Please dont take offense, I just cant refer people (american) to a site that may have players from other countries that disrespect poker, one, and refuse to speak a language that most people know in the world. Not speakinga common language when playing poker ,as you and others know, compromises the integrity of the game.

I know what your thinking. The new people will think objectively andwill look through the money tables and find that the money tables are better play.Sure, some will. But in a world of fast food, microwaves, mail order movies ,remote controls and ridilin, most of them wont. You need to kind of make it easier for them to decide to stay. Not deter them. Not that your doing it your self, what im saying is , theres plenty of people that will do it for you when it comes to poker.Thats all im trying to say .I think the bit of control that you can take should be taken to insure a good growth to your site. These things might seem small, but they are huge when it comes to the fickle personalities that frequent online poker.Especially when we're talking about 10's of thousands potentially.

While opening a poker site is,like any business, is wonderful,a key to succeeding is building a customer base.Whether it be through mountains of advertising,or referal, the customers/clients you want need to be of certain quality. As the site grows, noobs need to see that the game is being respected, after all, they surely dont want to deposit hard earned money to be taken by goofball deep pokets that say "its only $5,what the hell...".this is offensive to some that want to play poker. They want to see that people want to come here.they want to see the site is safe.they want to be able to have no probs w/ deposit/w/draw.They want to see that people are playing poker. They want to hear "this site is great, the support is great, the platform is great, the play is great".

New site. Why not be strict and stringent so as to build a quality customer base?y not take into consideration the silly little stuff that has the potential to expload when hitting 10's of thousands of people? This site is in its infancy and I would like it to get huge for you.

    See you on the felt.

It's an international site ... not like pstars or FT ... You will see people speak in Danish and German as well as French.

Since we're a skin, I don't think we have much control on this one

I honestly don't see why language is such a huge issue. You have to realize that English isn't actually the most common language in the world, and we want to embrace everyone, which means not excluding other languages.

In fact, a few nights ago there were several of us on a play money table and there was a woman there. Her name was Noel and she was from Argentina. She didn't speak English, and we don't speak Spanish. But it was SUPER fun trying to communicate with her. She was very talkative and tried her best to talk to us. We, with our very limited Spanish class background, had a great time trying to speak in Spanish with her. it was fun!

As far as people going all in with play money, well it's play money. I've played in several real money tournies and it is not the same style play. So, you can't really base the entire site on play money tables. I had a really good time playing in the tournies!!

I played 3-4 tourneys with real money so far, and I must say that people are donking more than on FT ... sounds more like PartyPoker to me!! (reason why I stopped playing there 3-4 years ago).

At least one player on the table going all-in on every hand, not always the same player, as soon as they have a face in their deck ... I got donked with K2 (K on river) for exemple. Going all-in with a stack of $24000, to steal a $800 pot ....

So we don't see as much flops as on FT IMO.

And when we do (I once hit 2 pairs on the flop), our all-in will be called with only middle pair ...

Dunno if we either will do a lot of money or be donked a lot!!

Other thing is that you can't lookup the players on Internet ... I like to know if I'm player against donks with ROI of -90% or with sharks ahving ROI of +40%

But the site will be great for our Private LP games
